Port count and expansion boards are the number one differentiator once your prop count grows. Falcon dominates the mega-display market with the highest single-controller port counts.
Both DDP and E1.31 work fine in modern xLights, but DDP typically results in cleaner playback at high universe counts. Every controller family here supports both.
Community support matters more than spec sheets. Wired Watts and CCL both have very responsive small-team support that Falcon can't always match during peak season.
